More than 20,000 people turned out to enjoy the bonfire and fireworks spectacular tonight (Sat) at Himley Hall.
It is the second successive year it has sold out in advance, with 22,000 people enjoying the extravaganza.
The event saw a stunning 30-minute firework display, set to music inspired by the story of ‘Around the World in 80 Days’.
It included a large bonfire, giant funfair, street entertainment performances, a night market and food from around the world.
There was also live entertainment on the main stage from bhangra drummers Hit the Dhol, P!nk tribute artist Vicky Jackson and DJ Stuart Ojelay.
Councillor Shaun Keasey, cabinet member responsible for commercial events, said:
"I want to say a big thank you to everyone who turned out this evening to enjoy the Himley bonfire and fireworks, which for the second year in a row sold out well in advance.
"It was wonderful to see so many people, of all ages, enjoying a wonderful evening of entertainment, topped off with one of the best fireworks displays for miles around.
"It remains the biggest and best display of its kind in the region, and long may that continue."
The event was supported by Whittaker Bros Ltd and sponsored by Heart 100.7, K2 Security, Jewson and Halesowen College.
