People can make the most of the beautiful month of March with spring time events and activities at the Dudley Council run Himley Hall and Park.
There will be a wedding fayre in the hall on Sunday 8 March. The event, which was rescheduled due to bad weather in February, runs from 11am to 3pm. There will be more than 25 wedding exhibitors including bridal wear, men’s outfits, photographers, cakes, florists and many other great ideas for the couple’s special day.
On Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 March, 10am to 4pm, there will be an early Mother’s Day Charity Shopping Event. People can pick up bargain gifts for Mother's Day with money being raised for Mary Stevens Hospice. £2 entry on the door or in advance, under 16s go in free.
The Antiques and Collectors Fayre will return to the hall on Sunday 22 March, 9am to 4pm. Visitors can view and purchase antiques and collectables from a wide variety of stallholders from both indoor and outdoor stands. Entry costs £2 with under 16s entry being free.
The Brierley Hill Musical Theatre Company will bring their ‘Grand Night for Singing’ event to the hall on Saturday 28 March. Starting at 7.30pm, the night features popular songs from the 60s and 70s. Tickets cost £10, including parking, and people are invited to enjoy pre-drinks in the cinema bar.
On Sunday 29 March, 9am to 1pm, The Mind Ride returns. Motorcyclists will leave the park at 10am, taking on a 19.7 mile ride around Dudley borough before returning back to Himley in just under an hour. The fundraising event from Dudley Mind, which supports people living in the area who are experiencing mental health difficulties, will also include live music and food with raffle and tombola prizes up for grabs.
Dogs and their owners can also enjoy The Tail Waggers Trail on Sunday 29 March in aid of Compton Care. The family friendly event, which starts at 10am, invites people to walk, jog or run 5k with their four-legged friends. Children will be able to enjoy an activity trail on the route and Cat the Vet from CBBC’s Pets Factor will be at the event. The event is £5 per person and a family ticket for 2 adults and 2 children is £17.50, under 5s go free.

"With the Mother’s Day Charity Shopping Event and The Antiques and Collectors Fayre taking place in the hall next month people looking for a special gift for their mum will be spoilt for choice."
