People can welcome in the new decade, while giving a nod to the old, with an antiques and collectors fair at Himley Hall next Sunday (19 January).
The fair, which runs from 9am to 4pm, follows on from the success of similar events at the hall in the summer, autumn and Christmas of last year.
It will once again offer people the opportunity to view and purchase antiques and collectables from a wide variety of stallholders.
Councillor Ian Kettle, cabinet member for regeneration and enterprise, said:
" As part of the Dudley Deal we want to help small businesses in the area by encouraging people to shop locally and we know events such as these can be a welcome boost to small traders.
"The hall and park will be open to visitors throughout the day so they can also enjoy refreshments in the hall’s coffee lounge and take a walk in the beautiful grounds. "
There is an entrance fee of £2 for adults and under 16s go in for free.
Paul Rowson of Antiques at Events said:
"We are excited to be holding our fair at Himley Hall and Park once again and I would encourage people from across the borough to come and take a look at the wide range of things on offer.
"The response from antique and collectable traders from around the UK has been fantastic and the event is growing each time we run it. We hope to expand it further still as the year goes on."
Additional fairs are planned in 2020 with the next one set to take place in March. Information can be found on Facebook by searching ‘Antiques at Himley’.
