Why choose Himley’s Magical Christmas Portal?
This is a unique family event designed to give children a magical interactive experience as they get the chance to talk live to Father Christmas in the North Pole via a large screen!
Will children get to meet Father Christmas?
Children will get the opportunity to talk live to Father Christmas in Lapland, via a large screen. They will not be able to meet him in person as he is of course, in the North Pole! They will be able to ask questions and find out if they are on the naughty or nice list!
What else is at the event?
Food market, festive refreshments, vintage fairground (charges apply for rides) and Christmas street entertainers and craft market.
Will children receive a gift?
Yes with £10 (+booking fee) tickets, children will receive a bespoke Himley gift sent by Father Christmas. Free ticket holders will not receive a gift.
Is there an extra charge for fairground rides?
Yes
Will the event be cancelled if it rains?
No. We have a large lit marquee for you to watch the Christmas show from. Wrap up warm and bring an umbrella just in case!
Is there parking on site?
Parking is limited so please come early. Parking charge is £2 per car for 2 hours, £3 to stay all day in the park. – CASH only. Please allow sufficient time for entry into the event.
Are there cash machines on site?
No cash machines are on site at Himley Hall.
Can I buy tickets on the gate?
No, tickets must be purchased online. Tickets will remain available online up to the date of the event, subject to availability.
Are there any facilities for wheelchair users?
Yes, we have an area to accommodate wheelchairs. Please contact us to discuss your particular requirements.
Can I get a refund?
Tickets are non refundable, unless the event is cancelled.
Will there be refreshments available?
Yes. Festive food will be available as part of the food market and at the Himley hatch.
Are there toilet facilities?
Yes. There are toilet facilities available including disabled toilets.
Are bicycles allowed onto the site during the event?
No.
Are dogs allowed at the event?
No. Assistance dogs only.
