Armed Forces Day in association with SWG Group is returning to the prestigious Grade II listed Himley Hall & Park.
The FREE event runs from 11am to 4pm and offers fun for all the family, including a paintball gallery, a vintage military vehicle display and dance lesson taster sessions hosted by All About Swing.
In the park vintage and crafts will be on offer at Lily & Lolly’s Vintage & Craft Fayre, there will be ‘tea for the troops’ from a pop-up vintage tearoom as well as vintage fairground rides and Punch & Judy.
Highlights of the day will include the Veteran's Badge presentation by the Mayor of Dudley and an opportunity to meet regular and reserve military units as well as army, air and sea cadets from across the region.
Veterans are being urged to come forward and have special badges and medals presented by the Mayor of Dudley at this year’s Armed Forces Day event.
